Only the washer plug requires replacement. The existing diverter housing from the tub filler should be retained and reused.

Preparation:
|
|
Tools Needed: 15MM Allen Wrench, Standard Screwdriver & Heat-Resistant Sterile Grease.
Shut water supply to the faucet off: Important: Turn off the water supply at the faucet before starting, failure to do so could result in flooding or injury.
|
|
Diverter Removal/Replacement:
|
- Position the diverter insert wrench on the flats of the diverter insert.
- Pull upward slightly to ensure proper engagement.
- Rotate the wrench counterclockwise to loosen and remove the diverter insert.

- Remove the blue diverter washer.
- Inspect and clean the cavity, ensuring all debris and residue are removed.
- If the blue O-ring is still present, remove it completely before proceeding with installation.

 |
- Apply a thin layer of waterproof, heat-resistant grease to the new black O-ring.
- Install the O-ring into the machined groove, ensuring it is fully seated.
- Clean the cavity thoroughly, removing any debris and any remaining blue O-ring material.
- Apply waterproof, heat-resistant grease to both the plug and the cavity before installation.

- Install the diverter assembly and ensure all components are properly seated.
- Restore the water supply and test the diverter operation, verifying proper flow and leak-free performance.
