R7903 Side Lever Pull-Out Handle Replacement Instructions
Tools Needed: 5/64” Allen wrench, small crescent wrench
Shut water supply to the faucet off: Important: Turn off the water supply at the faucet before starting. You can either turn off the main supply to the house or close the shut-off valves if the faucet is equipped with them. Then open the faucet again to empty it of residual water. Failure to do so could result in flooding or injury.
Using the crescent wrench, loosen the lever bolt by gently rotating counterclockwise. Be sure not to damage the finish. Once the lever bolt is loosened, continue rotating counterclockwise by hand. |
Remove the lever bolt, lever insert, and lever spacer. | |
Using the 5/64” Allen wrench, insert into the hole on the handle dome and rotate the set screw counterclockwise until loose. |
Pull out the set screw from the handle dome. Pull off the handle dome from the cartridge by hand. Replace the handle dome if applicable. |
Ensure the black plastic insert is installed correctly; the grooved side with the hole should be aligned with the hole in the handle dome (red outline shows groove). |
Follow the instructions in reverse to reinstall the handle assembly. |
