Five Hole Installation Kit-Instructions with Country Bath Tub Filler
Please note: When converting a 3 hole tub filler to a 5 hole tub filler, additional parts are needed. You must order part # 5HOLEINSTALLKIT to complete the installation
Tools Required:Adjustable wrench, Teflon tape Preparation:Shut water supply to the faucet off: Important: Turn off the water supply at the faucet before starting. You can either turn off the main supply to the house or close the shut-off valves if the faucet is equipped with them. Then open the faucet again to empty it of residual water. Failure to do so could result in flooding or injury.

Diverter Assembly: Please note: BV216 diverter may have an extra port that is plugged from the factory |

Please Note: When installing the BV216 diverter into deck, do not discard the white or black handle guide. The guide stops the handle from rotating 360 degrees.

Remove the two brass adaptors from the diverter and install the adaptors provided with the trim |

Assemble the LFA-858 T-fitting with LFA-77 nipples and install the LFA-858 T-fitting on the bottom of the BV216 diverter, using Teflon tape on all connections to create a seal. Install the flex hoses from the side valves of faucet to the inlets on the LFA-858 T-connection. Use flat washers to make a seal. |
Spout Assembly: |
Remove the 1/2” cap at the end of the spout assembly and remove the 3/4” T- connection from the bottom of the faucet.
Replace the 3/4” T-connection with the C7432 Banjo connector
Install the C7437 1/2” cap nuts on the new C7432 Banjo connector with flat washers. Tighten assembly. The C7432 Banjo connector will act as a spacer.
Install the U.5379 1/2” female to 3/4” male adaptor on the bottom outlet of the spout. Use Teflon tape to make a seal.
Install the C7089.6034NSF 3/4” hose to the U.5379 adaptor on the spout assembly. Use Teflon tape to make a seal.
Assembly Complete: |
Install the other end of the C7089.6034NSF 3/4” hose onto the outlet on the BV216 diverter valve
