C7007M Diverter Instructions

Tools needed: 2MM Allen Key, Needle Nose Pliers

Shut water supply to the faucet off: Important: Turn off the water supply at the faucet before starting. You can either turn off the main supply to the house or close the shut-off valves if the faucet is equipped with them. Then open the faucet again to empty it of residual water. Failure to do so could result in flooding or injury.

Please note: A slight stream out of the spout when using the hand spray is acceptable. 100% full divert may not be possible due to higher water pressure.

Snag_b5014d9.pngUsing a 2mm allen key, rotate the 2MM allen set screw at the back of the faucet, counterclockwise.

Snag_b504bd7.pngOnce the set screw is removed, pull the spout straight up and off the bridge of the faucet.

Using needle nose pliers, grasp the inner metal piston at the top of the diverter and pull up and out.

Using the complete packet of grease, lubricate the replacement diverter and push into the body of the faucet.

Replace the spout, aligning the break in the top clip with the hole at the back of the bridge (see photo top right)

Using 2MM allen key, tighten down set screw and test.
