C7006MKIT Diverter Instructions
Tools Needed: 2MM Allen Wrench, Needle Nose Pliers
Shut water supply to the faucet off: Important: Turn off the water supply at the faucet before starting. You can either turn off the main supply to the house or close the shut-off valves if the faucet is equipped with them. Then open the faucet again to empty it of residual water. Failure to do so could result in flooding or injury.
Set screw/spout removal: |
Locate the 2MM allen set screw at the back of the faucet. Using a 2MM allen wrench, rotate counterclockwise to loosen. Once the set screw is removed, pull the spout up and off the faucet base. |

Diverter Removal/Replacement: |
Locate the diverter in the base of the faucet. Using one end of needle nose pliers; insert into diverter and wedge against the plastic housing of the diverter. Pull up on the diverter to remove. |

Spout Replacement: |

Lubricate the piston on the replacement C7006M diverter, using the sterile grease packet provided. Insert the diverter plastic side up into the faucet base until fully seated. |

Insert spout into the base of the faucet. Ensure that the gap on the top rigid clip is aligned with the hole at the back of the faucet base. Seat the spout fully down into faucet base. You may ease placement using a rubber mallet, gently tapping the top of the spout until seated. |

Using a 2MM allen wrench, rotate the 2MM set screw clockwise until tight. |
