Cartridge Replacement:

Install new cartridge by aligning the two pins at the base of the cartridge with the two open slots on the faucet body.

Tighten brass cartridge nut by hand and then another quarter turn using a large Crescent Wrench. Test new cartridge before installing handle assembly. If leak occurs, continue tightening the brass cartridge nut, quarter turn at a time, until the leak subsides.

Over-tightening the brass cartridge nut could cause damage to the cartridge; quarter turn method is recommended.

Install handle assembly in reverse.
