Shut water supply to the faucet off: Important: Turn off the water supply at the faucet before starting. You can either turn off the main supply to the house or close the shut-off valves if the faucet is equipped with them. Then open the faucet again to empty it of residual water. Failure to do so could result in flooding or injury.
Installation Instructions C4912 & C4912/58SET
- Back off Philips screw, located at the end of the handle adaptor. Remove screw and handle adaptor. Set aside.
- Install two stem extensions onto the stem of cartridge by aligning splines.
- Thread extension sleeve, rotating clockwise, to tighten onto A4911BO rough valve body.
- Install handle adaptor onto stem extension and tighten Philips screw by rotating clockwise.
- Complete installation by threading on volume control trim, rotating clockwise.
