A2202 Diverter Change instructions

 
  • Tools needed: 12MM Allen Key, Straight Edge Knife
  • Shut water supply to the faucet off: Important: Turn off the water supply at the faucet before starting. You can either turn off the main supply to the house or close the shut-off valves if the faucet is equipped with them. Then open the faucet again to empty it of residual water. Failure to do so could result in flooding or injury. 
1. Remove the diverter cap by rotating counter clockwise.

2.  Remove handshower supply hose by rotating the nut counter clockwise

3.  Remove the flow restrictor; use a straight edge knife and gently pry out of outlet.  Be careful not to scratch finish, or damage threads.

4.  Using a 12MM Allen Key, remove finished outlet tube by rotating counter clockwise.

5.  Remove old divertor and replace.  Make sure to apply plumbers grease to the new diverter.
