Troubleshooting Guide

Faucet Startup Process:

Many situations can be resolved by restarting the faucet.

  • Disconnect the battery holder cable (A) and leave it disconnected for 10 seconds.
  • Reinsert the battery cable (A) and ensure it is pushed all the way into the control box (B). When the cable is properly inserted the consumer should hear a slight humming sound or feel a slight vibration if holding the control box. This indicates that the battery cable is connected, and sending power to the unit.
  • Turn the water on with the handle and test the faucet by rotating the handle to full hot water and then to full cold water, the turn the handle off. This is also referred to as the Four Point Check.

Shut Off Valves: The Water supplies are not turned ON. Turn the water supplies completely ON.
Symptom: Low flow- overall or temperature specific reduction
Probable Cause(s) Solution
Overall Reduction - The water supplies are not turned ON. Turn the water supplies completely on.
Overall or Temperature Specific Reduction - Pinched or kinked hoses. Make sure all the hoses are not pinched or kinked
Temperature Specific Reduction- Clogged filters. Clean both filters, see article: Low_Flow_Cleaning_Faucet_Filters
Symptom: The sensor is not functioning
Probable Cause(s) Solution
Sensor: The Protective label was left on the sensor. Remove the label from the sensor
Sensor: The sensor is deactivated. Reactivate the sensor, see article: Enabling_And_Disabling_The_Sensor
