PE101: Replacing the Spray Hose Guide

This article explains how to replace the spray hose guide (PN 039-315) on PE 101. |
Preparation: |
Important: Turn off the water supply at the faucet before starting. You can either turn off the main supply to the house or close the shut-off valves if the faucet is equipped with them. Then open the faucet again to empty it of residual water. Failure to do so could result in flooding or injury.

Replacing the Spray Hose Guide |

1. Remove the Quick-Connect (PN 7369) to allow the hose to move freely. Refer to this document for instructions on how to remove the Quick-Connect.

2. Hold the faucet spring firmly and unscrew it from the black spray hose guide to expose the nylon hose.
|
|
3. Unscrew the nylon hose from the brass adaptor.
|
4. Slide off the black spray hose guide and replace with new spray hose guide.

Reassembling the Spray Hose |
| 1. Screw the nylon hose to the brass adaptor |
| 2. Holding the faucet spring firmly, screw on the black spray hose guide. |
| 3. Reinstall the Quick-Connect (PN 7369). |
