How to Replace a Riobel Kitchen Faucet Handle (Threaded Dome)

Preparation:

House of Rohl produces a variety of Side Mounted Handle Faucets. The interior components and assembly are not the same for each model. This article will explain one of the most common handle assemblies referred to as a Threaded Dome.

Disassembly:

In some cases, accessing the hole in the handle might require loosening the faucet under the sink and rotating the body of the faucet.

  • Removed small round plug/cap (#1) covering the handle hole. (Not used in all faucets).
  • Using a 2.5mm (3/32) Hex wrench, loosen the set screw (#2) until the handle (#3) lifts off. Slide the handle (#3) off of the faucet.
Assembly:
  • Slide the handle (#3) back on and tighten the set screw (#2) to complete installation.
  • If applicable, re-install the small round plug/cap (#1).

If you loosened the mounting hardware (#4) under the sink to rotate the faucet to gain access to the set screw, rotate the faucet back to the original position and tighten the mounting hardware (#4).
