9.21427 Sidespray Aerator Changing
Preparation: |
| Before you begin: Keep the water supply valves turned OFF during the process. For assistance, refer to the article, "How to safely shut off water supply to the Faucet.” |
Disassembly: |

Using your hand, rotate the front retaining nut counterclockwise to remove it from the sprayer. |

Carefully remove the retaining nut, aerator, screen, and O-ring. Lay the parts out in the order they were removed to help ensure proper reassembly. |

Installation: |
|
|
Place the new O-ring into the opening of the sprayer as shown. |
 |
|
Place the new screen onto the back of the new aerator. Insert the assembled screen and aerator into the retaining nut as shown. |

|
Thread the retaining nut onto the sprayer and rotate it clockwise until secure. Do not overtighten. |
