9.13197 and 9.13199 Cartridge Replacement

 
Two Lever Faucets:

Shut water supply to the faucet off: Important: Turn off the water supply at the faucet before starting. You can either turn off the main supply to the house or close the shut-off valves if the faucet is equipped with them. Then open the faucet again to empty it of residual water. Failure to do so could result in flooding or injury.

1. Unthread the lever and bolt.

2. Unthread the large finished nut and pull the handle ball end off of the cartridge stem. Remove the plastic Retaining ring.

3. Using a large Crescent Wrench remove the cartridge. Install the new cartridge and follow the directions in reverse to reassemble the handle

1) Pull the handle off the cartridge

2.  Remove the plastic Retaining ring.

3. Using a large Crescent Wrench remove the cartridge. Install the new cartridge and follow the directions in reverse to reassemble the handle.
