9.07245 Diverter Instructions
PERRIN & ROWE® DIVERTER O-RING SET FOR 4 HOLE
DECK MOUNTED TUB SET 9.07245
Tools Required:4mm Allen key (comes with diverter kit), pliers or channel lock & small slotted screwdriver.
Preparation:Shut water supply to the faucet off: Important: Turn off the water supply at the faucet before starting. You can either turn off the main supply to the house or close the shut-off valves if the faucet is equipped with them. Then open the faucet again to empty it of residual water. Failure to do so could result in flooding or injury. |

1. Remove pop-up knob from diverter rod. Pull up on the knob, and while holding the rod, unscrew the knob by rotating counterclockwise by hand. |
2. Using a 4mm Allen key, remove the set screw on the back side at the base of the spout by rotating counterclockwise. |

3. Pull the spout off the rough body using upward force by hand. |
4. Using channel lock, unscrew brass top (Tip: Put the channel lock in the open holes on top of the rough). |

5. Pull the brass top off to remove diverter rod and plunger. |
6. Replace the O-ring, spring, diverter disk, and screw. 7. After replacing the parts in number six, do the steps in reverse, then test |
