Fitting an Overflow Assembly Kit

Fitting an Overflow Assembly Kit (rectangle)
Contents of your Overflow Kit should be as follows-

Place the washer into the channel as shown below-

Fit one end of the plastic pipe onto the spigot

Place the screw through the faceplate it is now ready to attach

Place the plastic overflow central to the back of the hole in the sink then place the screw through the faceplate and into the overflow

Using a flat head screwdriver fasten the screw securely into the plastic overflow (Do Not overtightened as this could damage the faceplate)

If the required the screw can be cut down.

Keeping the cross section of the faceplate level give a better look.

The end of the plastic pipe can now be marked & cut to length, ready to be fit to yoru Shaws basket waste spigot

Using the nut and seal from your Shaws basket waste kit attach them to the overflow pipe as shown.

Attach the overflow to the basket waste spigot as above
