RT12 Diverter spacer

 

This article provides step-by-step instructions for installing the Diverter spacer for the RT12
Step C explains that the spacer must be in place for models RT12-RT10, so that the diverter can function properly.
Instruction:

Shut water supply to the faucet off: Important: Turn off the water supply at the faucet before starting. You can either turn off the main supply to the house or close the shut-off valves if the faucet is equipped with them. Then open the faucet again to empty it of residual water. Failure to do so could result in flooding or injury. 

The RT12 diverter must include the spacer 301-013, part no. 2

  1. Drill a hole of 1 1/16" to 1 1/4"
  2. From under the worktop, slide the diverter equipped with the nut (5), the metal washer (4), and the rubber washer (3) into the drilled hole.
  3. From the top, slide the brass spacer (2) and screws to the top nut (1).

IMPORTANT

You must tighten the top nut (1) first.
