Preparation:

Important: Turn off the water supply at the faucet before starting. You can either turn off the main supply to the house or close the shut-off valves if the faucet is equipped with them. Then open the faucet again to empty it of residual water. Failure to do so could result in flooding or injury.

The following instructions assume the handle, associated parts and cartridge have been removed. For additional information or for your faucet part's page, visit https://houseofrohl.ca/ or contact us.

  • Recommended tools: 2.5mm allen key, needle-nose pliers, wood screw (to remove the flow reducer)

To access the flow reducer, you must remove the handle, the retaining nut and the cartridge. You can refer to the exploded view of your faucet to guide you through this step.

The flow restrictor is located in the valve body, beneath the cartridge.

To clean it, you can use long-nosed pliers and remove the debris that has become lodged in it

If it becomes necessary to remove it, screw a wood screw in the center of the reducer and pull it out. Note that it will then be broken and unusable. Important: You must have a flow reducer in an open spout faucet, otherwise water will be sprayed over the sink.

If you need to install a new flow restrictor, insert it so that you can see the o-ring once it is in
