This article will explain how to correctly position the temperature limiter and the handle on a thermostatic 2 handle valve (not coaxial)

Instructions:

Shut water supply to the faucet off: Important: Turn off the water supply at the faucet before starting. You can either turn off the main supply to the house or close the shut-off valves if the faucet is equipped with them. Then open the faucet again to empty it of residual water. Failure to do so could result in flooding or injury.

Remove the temperature handle completely. Refer to the part’s page of your valve to help you. If you don’t have your valve part’s page, or if you can't find it on our https://houseofrohl.ca/ website, contact us.

Make sure the temperature limiter is positioned with the slot at noon (see red arrow). If it is not, pull it out and replace it properly.

Turn on the water in one of the components, the hand shower for example, and turn the tip of the thermostatic cartridge with a pair of pliers, see blue arrow, to find the ideal temperature for you. Once you found it, close the component.

Replace the part of the handle containing the pressure button with this button positioned at noon (see yellow arrow). Put the other parts back in place
