Ciclo Single Hole Handle Replacement

 

This article will explain step by step how to replace the handle on the Ciclo single hole faucet.
Preparation:

Important: Turn off the water supply at the faucet before starting. You can either turn off the main supply to the house or close the shut-off valves if the faucet is equipped with them. Then open the faucet again to empty it of residual water. Failure to do so could result in flooding or injury. 

  • Recommended Tools: 2.5mm allen key, Phillips screwdriver

1. Vernier Bushing

2. Replacement Handle

Instructions:

1. REMOVE the handle 2.5mm allen screw, the screw and bushing on the cartridge interface and DISCARD along with the OLD HANDLE

2. Insert the Vernier bushing on the cartridge (not fully) and mark a reference point (green arrows)

3. Insert the handle on the Vernier bushing (not fully) to verify position for final installation**.

**The final installation of the Vernier/Handle is PRESS FIT. You must ensure alignment PRIOR to fully inserting the handle onto the Vernier bushing.

4.  VERIFY position by turning the cartridge from Fully closed to fully open and back to Fully CLOSED, then verify the aligement position. 

  • Note: The handle must be turned without being fully inserted on the Vernier bushing

 

 

Final position perfectly aligned, go to step 6

5. Only if not perfectly aligned, remove the handle and ROTATE the Vernier bushing (in this case, the Vernier bushing was turned 1/2 turn to compensate for the misalignment.

6. Once perfect alignment is achieved, fully press the handle on the Vernier bushing, hold the handle in place by tightening the set screw and then insert the screw cap
