U.5580 Rainbar Assembly

Installation Instructions:

Shut water supply to the faucet off: Important: Turn off the water supply at the faucet before starting. You can either turn off the main supply to the house or close the shut-off valves if the faucet is equipped with them. Then open the faucet again to empty it of residual water. Failure to do so could result in flooding or injury. 

1. Install the Nipple Adaptor onto the Female supply in wall.
2. Install threaded collar onto Nipple Adaptor

3. Determine depth and mark the Threaded Collar where to cut. Remove the threaded collar from the Nipple Adaptor and cut accordingly. Ensure you do not lose the Seal.
4. With the Escutcheon and O-ring flush with the wall, secure the cut down Threaded Collar back onto the Nipple Adaptor, ensuring the Seal is properly inserted.
5. Attach the rain bar by tightening swivel nut to the Threaded Collar.
6. Test Installation for leaks
