Shut water supply to the faucet off: Important: Turn off the water supply at the faucet before starting. You can either turn off the main supply to the house or close the shut-off valves if the faucet is equipped with them. Then open the faucet again to empty it of residual water. Failure to do so could result in flooding or injury.

Remove the grub screw using the 2mm Allen key provided (a spare screw is also supplied)

Remove the whole spout from the body of the tap

- Unscrew the spout outlet cover
- Pull the aerator from the silicone tube in the spout
- The diverter can be removed by using a small, flat screwdriver; lever out the white plastic retaining clip as indicated by the asterisk (*)
- Remove the in spout diverter with small long nosed pliers, including the silicone tube within the spout
- Remove the old diverter from the silicone tube
- Check the inside of the body of the tap for visible debris or damage

- Attach the replacement diverter to the end of the silicone tube
- Feed the silicone tube back through the spout
- Press the diverter into the spout until it clicks into place
- Check all 'O' seals on the end of the spout and the diverter before reassembly (spare 'O' seal is supplied)
- Reattach the aerator to the silicone tube, ensuring the washer remains in place
- Screw the spout outlet cover back on

- Replace the spout into the body, with the hole in the white clip aligned with the screw hole
- Take care to avoid damaging the 'O' seals during assembly
- Check the alignment of the spout (use a mirror if necessary) and refit the grub screw
- Turn the water supply back on and check for any leaks
