U.3248L and U.3249X Diverter Guide O-Ring Replacement
Shut water supply to the faucet off: Important: Turn off the water supply at the faucet before starting. You can either turn off the main supply to the house or close the shut-off valves if the faucet is equipped with them. Then open the faucet again to empty it of residual water. Failure to do so could result in flooding or injury.

1 - After removing spout from deck remove brass cap from inside the spout |
2- This Brass cap is screwed into placed remove by rotating counterclockwise. |

3 – Cap removed
|
4 – Using needle nose pliers, remove original pair of o-rings
|
|
5 - Cap and O-rings Removed
|
6- Install new o-rings after applying some plumbers grease for lubrication.
