9.21427 Sidespray Service Instructions

Shut water supply to the faucet off: Important: Turn off the water supply at the faucet before starting. You can either turn off the main supply to the house or close the shut-off valves if the faucet is equipped with them. Then open the faucet again to empty it of residual water. Failure to do so could result in flooding or injury.
Disassembly:
1. Unthread the spray 9.27776 from the hose 9.28426
2. Unthread front metal ring off of spray head, black aerator and filter screen will follow.
3. Unthread back metal ring off of spray head, activator button and spring will follow.
4. Unthread handheld portion off of spray head.
5. Slide white plastic cartridge off of spray head
6. Push plastic tube up through handheld portion.
7. Utilizing the included grease packet, thoroughly lubricate the black portion of the activator button prior to reinstallation. See
photo below.
8. Reassemble the spray by following steps 1-5 in reverse order.
Please note: Included are 2 o-rings. Insert one at the top of handheld portion below the threads; the second thicker o-ring fits between the bottom of handheld and hose (not shown).
