LEGEND

  • Electro: Electroplating is when you use electricity to put a thin layer of metal on tp of another metal.
  • E-Coat: Electrophoretic Coating is a paint or resin-based coating applied by submerging the part in a pain bath. An electric current attracts paint particles to the metal, forming a protective, paint-like layer. 
  • Living Finish: A living finish is a finish that is not sealed or coated, allowing the raw material to naturally age. Exposure to air, moisture, oils from hands and everyday use causes the surface to gradually darken, lighten, or develop character.
  • PC: Powder coating is a type of paint that stats as a dry powder instead of a liquid. The powder is sprayed onto the product and then baked on, creating a smooth, durable finish. 
  • PVD: Physical Vapor Deposits: A PVD coating is a very thin, very strong metal layer that’s added to a product to make it look better and last longer.
