How to install DB150 and P170 (old guide)

A. Unscrew the threaded pipe (5), the assembly nut (4) and the gasket (3) from the body of the drain (2).

• Dévisser le tuyau de raccordement (5), la noix de serrage (4) et le joint d'étanchéité (3) du corps du drain de vidange (2)

B. Apply Teflon tape on the threaded part of the connection pipe (5) and screw it on the body of the drain (2).

•  Appliquer du ruban de téflon sur la partie filetée du tuyau de raccordement (5) et visser dans le corps du drain (2).

C. Apply silicone caulk under the rim of the drain’s body (2), as well as on its threaded part.

• Appliquer du silicone sous le rebord du corps de drain (2), ainsi que sur sa partie filetée.

D. On the lavatory’s surface, insert the body of the drain (2) into the drain hole.

• Par le dessus du lavabo, insérer le corps du drain (2) dans le trou de vidange

E.   Underneath the lavatory, insert the gasket (3) onto the body of the drain (2). Hand screw the assembly nut (4) all the way and gently tighten. Note: Silicone caulk must be used to seal the drain. Overtightening the nut (4) will not prevent leakage and could damage the drain. 

• Sous le lavabo, insérer le joint d'étanchéité (3) sur le corps du drain de vidange (2) et visser, à la main, la noix de serrage (4) jusqu’au bout et serrer légèrement à la main. L’étanchéité doit se faire à l’aide du silicone et non par un serrage excessif de la noix d’assemblage (4).
