Minimalist Cartridge Instructions
Shut water supply to the faucet off: Important: Turn off the water supply at the faucet before starting. You can either turn off the main supply to the house or close the shut-off valves if the faucet is equipped with them. Then open the faucet again to empty it of residual water. Failure to do so could result in flooding or injury.

Preparation: |

Tools needed: Needle nose pliers |
Disassemble Cartridges: |
|
1. Remove split ring and stop ring from the top of both cartridges. |
2. Remove seat/s from the base of each cartridge.

3. Remove black ceramic disc and O-ring |
Re-Assemble Cartridges: |
4. Push the top of the cartridge stem downwards, sliding the white ceramic discs and stem out of the bottom end of the brass cartridge body. |
5. Taking the finished stem, the new brass cartridge body and new ceramic discs; insert the first white ceramic disc onto the finished stem. 6. Insert the second ceramic disc onto the first ceramic disc. |
5. Slide the finished stem with white ceramic discs through the bottom end of the new brass cartridge body. 6. Align notches on the black ceramic disc, with the notches in the brass cartridge body and push in against the white ceramic disc. 7. Insert rubber o-ring |
10. Insert check valve into seat and snap onto brass cartridge body. 11. Replace split ring and stop ring to the top finished stem 12. Install and test. |
