Please note: the manufacturer has inserted directions in the installation instructions that the valve should be placed according to the mudguard dimensions, or the dimensions in the instructions, as there is no developed formal extension kit. The installer should ensure the valve is installed accordingly. The parts outlined below for an extension solution only works in a limited number of applications. The installer may need to move the valve to the correct dimensions to get the trim plate to fit as designed if the valve is not installed within the Min/Max of mudguard/instructions. ROHL offers these extension parts as an accommodation only. ROHL takes no responsibility for valves installed deeper than the recommended depth. |
Wellsford 3/4” Extension |
Parts required: Extended faceplate nut part # R945440/2 & 3/4” Stem extension part
Shut water supply to the faucet off: Important: Turn off the water supply at the faucet before starting. You can either turn off the main supply to the house or close the shut-off valves if the faucet is equipped with them. Then open the faucet again to empty it of residual water. Failure to do so could result in flooding or injury.

Installation Instructions:1. Install faceplate with Extended faceplate nut, part # R945440/2 onto valve. (not shown) 2. Install interface, part # R945298 (provided with trim) onto stem of the cartridge. 3. Install 3/4” stem extension, part # R4588701 onto cartridge interface . 4. Use extended screw provided in the R4588701 extension kit, to secure handle onto the 3/4” stem extension.

Matheson 3/4” Extension |
Parts required: Extended faceplate nut part # R945440/2, extended screw part #
ZZ94733000, & 3/4” Stem extension part # R4588701
Installation Instructions:1. Install faceplate with Extended faceplate nut, part # R945440/2 onto valve. (not shown) 2. Install interface, part # R945298 (provided with trim) onto stem of the cartridge. 3. Install 3/4” stem extension, part # R4588701 onto cartridge interface. Transfer small brass washer (provided with trim) onto the 3/4” stem extension. Pease note: without use of the brass washer, the square dome housing will not sit correctly
5. Install square dome housing and secure with extended screw part # ZZ94733000
6. Install lever with 2mm allen wrench and set screw.

Caswell Faceplate Extension |
Parts required: Extended faceplate nut part # R945440/2
Please note: There is no stem extension for the Caswell trims.
Installation Instructions:
1. Install faceplate with Extended faceplate nut, part # R945440/2 onto valve. (not shown).
2. Proceed with installation of dome housing (not shown).
3. Secure handle using a 2mm allen wrench and set screw (not shown).
