RAL Painted Bathtubs

When a customer orders a V&A bathtub/lavatory sink, and requests it to be painted with a RAL color. The paint shop will include a small touch-up paint bottle which will be taped to the inside of the bathtub.  

Touch-Up Paint Application Instructions

Each touch-up paint bottle includes an applicator brush for ease of use. Ensure the surface of the tub or sink is clean, dry and free of debris.

• For matte finishes: Apply several light, thin coats, allowing each coat to dry before applying the next. Building the finish gradually will help achieve a more uniform matte appearance.

• For gloss finishes: Apply several heavier coats to build the surface and promote a glossier final appearance once dry.

Important: Touch-up paint kits are intended for minor cosmetic repairs and small blemishes only. They are not designed to effectively conceal or repair large scratches, gouges, or extensive surface damage.
