Replacement of the mixing valve with ceramic discs

• Shut water supply to the faucet off: Important: Turn off the water supply at the faucet before starting. You can either turn off the main supply to the house or close the shut-off valves if the faucet is equipped with them. Then open the faucet again to empty it of residual water. Failure to do so could result in flooding or injury. 
• Remove the plate for covering the hole (2-1) and unscrew the locking pin (2-2) using a hexagonal wrench of 3mm.
• Remove the lever and the cap (3) pulling upwards.
• Unscrew the nut (4) with the 1 1/4" wrench and remove the mixing valve (5).
• Insert the new mixing valve verifying that no dirt is left between the plane surface and the gaskets.
• Screw the nut (4) in with a Torque Wrench. The correct pressure is 10 Newton Metric or 7.376 foot lbs. Do Not Over Tighten.
• Insert the cap and reassemble the lever.
