Tools needed: Philips head screwdriver
Shut water supply to the faucet off: Important: Turn off the water supply at the faucet before starting. You can either turn off the main supply to the house or close the shut-off valves if the faucet is equipped with them. Then open the faucet again to empty it of residual water. Failure to do so could result in flooding or injury.

The following instructions are for the 5/8” and the 1” length extension only. 1) Unscrew adaptor (Z) from valve body (V). 2) For 5/8” extension, screw on extension piece (D) to valve body (V), or for 1” extension, screw on extension piece (E) to valve body (V). 3) For 5/8” extension, attach extension piece (A) with screw (F), or for 1” extension, attach extension piece (B) with screw (G), on to stem (S). A Philips head screwdriver is required. 4) Screw adaptor (Z), to extension piece (D) or (E), depending on the length. 5) Attach trim to valve. |
The following instructions are for the full 1 5/8” length extension only. 1) Unscrew adaptor (Z) from valve body (V). 2) Insert screw adaptor (C) into stem hole (S). 3) Attach adaptor (B) and (A) onto stem (S) with screw (H). A Philips head screwdriver is required. 4) Screw on extension piece (E) to valve (V). 5) Screw on extension piece (D) to extension piece (E). 6) Screw adaptor (Z) on to the extension piece (D). 7) Attach trim to valve. |
