Tools Needed:  A small flathead screwdriver or a 2MM Allen Key

Shut water supply to the faucet off: Important: Turn off the water supply at the faucet before starting. You can either turn off the main supply to the house or close the shut-off valves if the faucet is equipped with them. Then open the faucet again to empty it of residual water. Failure to do so could result in flooding or injury.

Locate the set screw in the back of the spout base. Using either a flathead screwdriver or a 2MM Allen key, unscrew by rotating counterclockwise. Pull up on the spout and replace the seals with the correct ones needed for your style spout following the adjacent photos here. Replace spout back into faucet by lining up the cut or small hole with the hole in the base of faucet and tighten the set screw by rotating clockwise. Do not over tighten.
