A1451 Installation Instructions

Preparation:
  • Tools required:  Drill, Pencil, 8mm allen key, and 4mm allen key
  • Shut water supply to the faucet off: Important: Turn off the water supply at the faucet before starting. You can either turn off the main supply to the house or close the shut-off valves if the faucet is equipped with them. Then open the faucet again to empty it of residual water. Failure to do so could result in flooding or injury.

clipboard_e476f8b23e9b6fce7acc98dfe6d433ce9.png Remove nipple from faucet and install onto 1/2” NPT stub out (not provided). Reinforce by using a 8mm allen key at the end of the nipple and tighten.

Using a 4mm allen key install the mounting ring onto the faucet by tightening one grub screw to ensure the mounting ring does not shift.

Prop faucet onto nipple; ensure support is provided to the faucet during this process. With a pencil, mark the screw holes on wall. Remove faucet.

Remove mounting ring from faucet.

Drill holes.

With the large screw holes facing forward install the mounting ring to the wall, using the four wall anchors and mounting screws provided. Ensure grub screws are at 12,6 and 3,9.

Slide escutcheon onto the faucet until it stops.

Insert faucet onto nipple, aligning the holes on the faucet with the grub screws on the mounting ring. Push faucet into place.

Using a 4mm allen key, tighten four grub screws to secure installation.
